Welcome to Morigrid ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Morigrid.
Account Information: When you sign up, we verify your identity via Google Sign-In or email. We store your email address and basic profile information (name) to personalize your experience.
User Data: Habits, milestones, journal entries, and other data you enter into the app are stored securely using Google Firebase services to sync across your devices.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous data about how you interact with our app (e.g., screen time in-app, feature usage) to improve Morigrid.
Log Data: In the event of an error, we may collect log data (via Crashlytics) to help us identify and fix bugs.
Photos and Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES): We request access to your device's photos to display "Memories" (photos taken on this day in history) within your personal timeline. We do not upload these photos to our servers. They are processed locally on your device for display purposes only.
Usage Access: We may request access to your device usage stats to provide Digital Detox features (e.g., tracking time spent in other apps). This data remains on your device or is stored privately in your verified account containers.
Vibration: Used for haptic feedback interactions.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Upon account deletion, all personal data (email, name, habits, journals) is permanently removed from our active databases. Some analytical data may be retained in an anonymized form.
